Ythan coaches help local school

Coaches from Ythan CC will help out with Ellon academy's Activity week at the end of April. The "Wheels" activity will concentrate on cycling. The coaches will help out with some skills training for the pupils taking part.

Cycling equipment for local primary school

With help from the strategy group Auchterellon Primary School has recently been awarded a grant to buy bikes and bike equipment for their pupils to use for Bikeability sessions.

FDCS projects

The Strategy group are looking at the following projects;

• New cycle stands for Old Meldrum and Turriff

• A tarred path path linking the housing estates in Ellon with the site for the new school
